Best customer service I have ever experienced from a software company

The app does not update the transaction date to the current day and instead is set on the date you first opened the app. This was overlooked for a week until I noticed that all my transactions were mis-dated. Please fix this!

Im a former Quicken user. Had to find something new when I switched to a Mac. I prefer Quicken, but this program does ok. I have a feeling it may be more similar to Quicken, but I havent figured out its hidden talents!

This program in my opinion is not user friendly...well, at least compared to what Im used to working with. The totals were not adding up correctly. When I went to find an entry, it would not locate. I dont like the fact it tallys going up on the page and having to change the format each time. When I went to print, the dates would not show, in its place were #### signs. After several attempts to get used to it... I just dont like it. Please refund my money. Thank you.

I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to add payments for any category. It is really hard to figure out how to use it. It is not intuitive at all. Very frustrating

Try to set up an account from Jan 1 on July 7, can’t back date year’s opening balance, useless for any accurate reports, won’t talk to a .csv file, can’t import from Quicken - what else? Oh, four hours of my life shot. Where is help? who knows, it ain’t on the menu bar. MrGates, give us Money back for this system. Silky just give me my money back.

We were looking for a simple replacement for Quicken. This gets the job done. It is easy to use, allows you to customize for your personal recording needs, and you can easily switch between accounts. If you are looking for a straight forward way to keep track of your finances, this is a great app to purchase.

Nothing bad to say about this program. It works as it is designed to do. Very clean and straight to the point. Have tried most all financial applications, like this one the best. Very easy to learn.

A great little app with the flexibility and punch of more expensive solutions. I was looking for something light weight and easy to personalize for my fairly basic home finances and MSFinance is the best solution I could find. Importing a previously downloaded CSV from my bank was a breeze and fine tuning the categories could not be simpler. Wonderful….

This is almost what I have been looking for. I used Microsoft Money for years and have moved to a Mac. I looked at the reviews and tried to find something simple just for my checking/ savings purposes. That is exactly what this is for me. There are a few things I feel need to be adjusted as other reviewers have mentioned however this program is doing what I need for now. Wish I could access it through my iCloud

It is taking a little getting use to and understand everything with it, but it seems to be doing the job great. Quicken turned out to be more than I needed. This helps keep the budget on track and help me understand where my money is going pretty simply.

I needed a replacement for MS Money when I got a Mac. I just want to keep my checkbook. Ms Fiance is pretty straightforward with minimal quirks. I honestly liked MS Money better, but Ms Finance has been getting the job done for a year now and I am satisfied with it.

Im using this with 10.6.8, waiting to upgrade to 10.10 Yosemite (when its bugs fixed). Ms Finance works but during reconcile bank balance it always crashes when I try to use the Command-R key shortcut!

I really use this app every day. It keeps me aware of how I’m spending my money. Great motivator.

I really like it so far. I am switching from Microsoft Money, which I thought was great, and this is similar and does everything I need so far. It is nice to have something straightforward and simple and works. Update on 2-9-2015: I am still very happy with this app. I use it to track three bank accounts I have. I could not find a way to generate a category summary report by the month for each account separately. That would be very helpful.

My one and only negative comment is the inability to delete “Payee” after one time entry making it cumbersome to get by that entry in the alphabetical order next time entering Payees.

I was using a spreadsheet to keep track of my budget but switched to MsFinance. I like the ease of adding or editing an entry. It helps to manange my budget with the toggle from current balance to Forcast balance. There are many great features and I would recommend this app.
