Good but not the best.
Bought Ms. Finance because CheckBook Pro quit - due to silly glitch in receipt file that prevented it from working (Apple fixed it in about a week). Meanwhile, I bought Ms Finance just to see how it compared. I like CheckBook Pro better overall, though the Ms Finance layout has a more appealing looking interface (subjective) and switching accounts is more convenient with Ms. Finance. One thing Ms Finance could do would be to split the so-called “ref” field into two - one that notes the type of transaction (check, online pay., direct deposit, etc.), and the other that gives a check number if a check was written. Right now the available reference types are limited to just four, whereas CheckBook Pro has 11 - better for organizing. Ms. Finance will cost you $20, whereas CheckBook Pro can be obtained for free from the Apple Store. Nevertheless, I like both and will continue to use both to help better compare the two.
